Mastering change leads to reduced stress and boosts performance.

In life, events and our experiences shape our beliefs, our perceptions, and our ability to live happy and healthy lives. As we grow and overcome our setbacks it is really important to balance the built-up pressure of negative emotions and bottled-up stress that accumulates in the mind and body.

The problems we face

Over time and after a build-up of stress in the mind and body we become more rigid in our thinking and in our reactions, which affects our ability to be innovative and creative when navigating solutions. 

It feels like

Living on autopilot, you know when you get home and you can’t remember what streets you turned down? You feel ‘beige’ emotionally and a lack of sparkle in your eyes. As a result, you disconnect within yourself and inevitably with the people around you. This is not the best environment to be able to change or to be able to perform at your best.

The solution

If we can learn how to be more flexible in our minds, in our bodies, and in our lives, we can break free from negative patterns and old redundant thinking.

As a resilience trainer, and accredited Sports Kinesiologist, it is my passion to help leaders and CEOs to master resilience with flexibility, adapting to change.

My name is Amanda, the founder of Bend Like Bamboo, a program designed to maximise resilience and health. As a Sports Kinesiologist and resilience trainer, I use flexibility to boost resilience. With a flexible mindset, we can master change and reimagine what can be possible in our mind, body, and life. Overcoming a paralysis at age 29 from MS, I discovered that a flexible mindset impacts everything that matters: our body’s ability to repair, how happy and resilient we are and how connected we feel.
