Kate has completed a double degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Science, and completed her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology and an Advanced Diploma in Diabetes Education.

Kate has over 16 years of experience in the Health and Fitness industry and is the Director of Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition which has 10 locations across the Mornington Peninsula, as well as managing Dietitian and Exercise Physiology services for 2 Private hospitals. 

Kate also lectures in the fields of Nutrition and Exercise Science for various educational institutions - her key areas of focus are Weight loss, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Bariatric Surgery Nutrition, Coeliac Disease, Eating Disorders, food intolerances and irritable bowel conditions.

Kate’s main objective is to assist individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through balanced nutrition and appropriate exercise prescription. 

I loved interviewing Kate, I have known her for about 20 years now and she continues to inspire me. We dove into some of the struggles Kate has had to face growing up with her own health, what she went through and her lowest points where it felt really hard. But true to Kate’s nature, she turned lemons into lemonade and her setbacks became the driving force behind what Be Fit Food is all about today, empowering individuals to eat themselves better.
