Endometriosis - THE EMOTIONAL LINKS TO PHYSICAL STRESS

At Bend Like Bamboo I specialise in the emotional links to disease and physical stress. In traditional Chinese medicine our muscles are associated with our organs and emotions, which is why a sore neck can linked with emotions of over worry. For example, the stomach organ is in charge of digestion, if there is a physical imbalance here I will also look at how are you currently digesting life?

HOW YOU THINK AND FEEL IS A MIRROR IMAGE OF WHAT OCCURS BIOCHEMICALLY IN YOUR BODY, AND WHAT YOU SEE IN YOUR REALITY AROUND YOU.

If we understand that the body is connected, we can get to the bottom of physical symptoms by understanding how they are related to our emotional state.

Ovaries: are in charge of creating life. When you believe you are unable to create in your life, the health of your ovaries may be a mirror image of what you are believing. When we hold onto past hurts and pain we become stressed and block our intuition. A loss of power and the ability to nurture yourself must be looked at here.

Uterus: Issues in the uterus are connected to discounting the feminine aspect of self, holding onto old hurts and rejection. Feeling depleted, unsupported, neglected and unbalanced. Over concern for other people’s problems must be addressed and shifting into the ability to nurture one self.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition that occurs when cells similar to those that line the uterus are found in other parts of the body. It most commonly occurs in the pelvis and can affect a woman's reproductive organs.

Look into how you may be feeling inadequate, unaccepted and not good enough. Rejecting the feminine aspect of yourself can leave you feeling depleted, unsupported and ungrounded which is not the best environment to promote repair and fertile pathways. Perceived rejection form men should be explored, feeling devalued and dishonouring yourself. Denying yourself love and appreciation.

LESSON:

How we perceive stress is connected to what we are believing about ourselves. We learn beliefs growing up and mimicking our environment around us. But we are in charge of our perceptions. They are malleable and should frequently be challenged. Sometimes we assume that we are not good enough, and we have to transform this old belief into a more positive one. You can wash your mind of old ideas, yesterday’s thoughts and redundant negative patterns.

MANTRA: I am valued, I am loveable, I am enough.
