How we are getting involved:

On Sunday 11th November Amanda Campbell, Founder of Bend Like Bamboo, will be at at Studio Pilates Richmond. She will share her story of how she had to learn to bend like bamboo when overcoming a paralysis at age 29 and how optimising her mindset and mental health was pivotal.

Bend Like Bamboo is a program designed to maximise resilience and your health.

3 Tips:

Meditate daily : the breath can alter the alarmed state in your nervous system by taking long slow deep breaths mindfully at intervals during the day.

Leverage your Reticular Activation System to focus on the positive

For the month of November we are still in Spring, a time to focus on the LIVER and GALLBLADDER organs in traditional Chinese medicine. The virtue of wood assists us to refine the ability to move forward and move on. What thoughts, mindset or behaviours can you move on from that are not serving you anymore?
